Millard was founded in 1870 by Ezra Millard, which is located in Southwest Omaha, Nebraska around 144th and L and extends all the way west to 180th, east to 138th, North of Pacific and South of Harrison. The heart of Millard also known as “Old Millard” was the initial downtown area. In 1971, Millard was then annexed by the City of Omaha.

Millard offers exceptional public schools. Millard Public Schools is ranked third for the largest district in Nebraska, having an overall of 35 schools.
